Emily & Ron 11|13|2010

Modern. Vintage. {Love}

I won't have to type much here - because pictures speak 1,000 words! This wedding was awesome, in every way! Fabulous Bride (who I truly miss working with) awesome groom, with whom I got to be the "Stand in Bride" for and attend tastings, etc (Yum) while she was hard at work finishing up here internship in Virginia.

This wedding was one of my fav's HANDS DOWN! Emily's unique "Vintage" style resinated through and through this day! No centerpiece was the same (more detail shot on the site). Each table was a different homage to the 40's with eclectic pieces from old hat boxes, to crystal chandeliers.

Her perfect "Vision" was brought to life by an alist team of vendors: Dream Designs Floral; Andrea Keller Photography; Cut the Cake Inc. (created one of the most beautiful cakes I've seen in my 8 years); Happy Limo; Fun Factory Entertainment and Us :)

Congrats Emily & Ron! (Miss you)

It's Been a long time.......

Since I have blogged...awful, I know.
BUT I have a great excuse....I had a baby, forgive me?????

It's been a CRAZY few months. I welcomed son #2 Ashton David into the world December 14th 2010. I took (roughly) 4 months off to "Be a Mom" and spend time with the new baby and adapting to life with two kids...then POOF! Wedding season (Spring hit) and back to work FULL FORCE!

We were slammed pretty much April through July - barely had time to come up for air. So my sincerest apologies for being "out of touch"! It was crazy....

But alas here I am, back to the blogging world and hapy to share pictures and stories of all that has happened over the past 6 or so months.

Industry Fun....I love my job!

Most recently one of my "Colleagues" and FABULOUS wedding & event designers, Lisa Konecny of E-Events together with Abby Liga (Photographer extroidainaire) of Liga Photography hosted a super fun event at their studio (and near by parking lot) that coupled food, frosty beverages (both from the keg and in a bottle) and KICK BALL....yeah!!!!

It was such a fun night! Although I obvisously couldn't part take in either the keg stands or the kick ball, I made one heck of a cheerleader :) ...... I'll get'em next year!

Anyhow...the "best of the best" were there. You name it....photographers, videographers, wedding planners (playing kick ball.....fun thought huh?) it was a blast. And believe it or not, some of them actually had athletic abilities (shout out to my girl Tracy Marini)!

Wedding planners just wanna have fun too!

The big joke of the evening was "Where is the Kickball????
Sonya ate it...." hahahahaha! Well Lisa was at my desfese....
she actually ate the kick ball! I'm just pregnant :)
Jennifer Rosenthal (Shingle Creek), Karrie Castello (Uniquely Yours Events), Amy Morelli (2U collection), Tracy Marnini (Eventfully Yours)and myself....cheering on the teams!

Somaiya & "D" - Coming Soon!!!!!!

One of my mostest favoritest clients of 2009 - Ms. Somaiya (now Mrs.)! Such a fun, sweet bride with SO much...um what's that word......SPUNK! She's a girl who knows what she wants, and will work until she gets it!

She had SUCH an amazing vision for her wedding day, a unique palette of colors, mixing golds, silver, pinks....creating a vintage yet modern a.k.a "Mo-vage" setting for her ultra formal and fabulolus wedding.

We CAN'T wait to post pics.....
Stay tuned for the photos, provided by the wonderful Cory Callahan...coming soon!

Here is a sneek peek at our super cute couple!

Donna & Mike | October 18th | Casa Feliz

Perfect Day Perfect Couple!

One of the most perfect wedding of the Season.....this was a fabulous day! They had the perfect location, perfect weather and they were surrounded by fabulous family and friends (New Yorkers I might add) that had a huge amount of love and happiness for this adorable couple.

Donna pulled together an amazing wedding...considering how busy of a woman she is. She travels around the world for weeks at a time but found the time to make it ALL happen.

Her team of vendors included: Melissa of Casa Feliz, and her wonderful staff at Arthurs Catering; Lee Forrest Design Floral & decor; Les and Wendy of Soundwave Entertainment had the dancefloor PACKED all night! Scoobie and Lisa of Scoobies Photographic Images provided these wonderful photos (thanks!); Mike and Dawn Iacovino of Tin Can Wedding Stories documented the evening on video;

Robyn & Brian!

We kicked off October with the sweetest couple! Robyn & Brian got married on October 10th at the beautiful Knowles Chapel in Winter Park - with a swanky / modern reception at the City Arts Factory Downtown!

A beautiful and perfect day (with about 5 seconds of random rain....just as we were moving her around the side of the church????) BUT umbrella in hand, we got her to that front door and down the aisle she went to one of the most touching ceremonies I've seen yet.

Her powerhouse of vendors included: Amanda Whittle and the Arthurs Catering Team; The super fun and motivating DJ Marco Polo with Tagas Events; Beautiful Floral by In Bloom Florist; Cake - the bride and her Aunt created an AMAZING cake! I can't wait to post pics!

Robyn did an amazing job pulling her wedding details together - all while studying and preparing to take the FLORIDA BAR Exam...she took it weeks before her wedding AND PASSED! Whooo Hoooo, congrats to Robyn!

We were only able to snatch a few of their engagement photos and Wedding "Teasers" from the photographer - more coming soon!
